I love the drawings in this book! They range from simplistic to detailed. I posted an example of the two extremes as well as one I completed. I think it’s a great book for colorists of all levels. It’s spiral bound which I really like. The only reason I would take off a half star is because the paper is kind of thin. That is really the only negative, IMO.
What a nice coloring book!! I am somewhat of a coloring book snob and will usually stick to the higher priced books that I know have really good paper and well known artist. This book was very nicely priced and was a delightful surprise!!! Delightfully whimsical pictures with the details I enjoy. Some are simpler for a quick color too. The paper was nice and easily withstood my gel pens and was great with my pencils. I was so pleased I went back and ordered several of the others of this series. Love the spirals!!!!
Nice well made books, the spiral is very nice so you can fold the book over and deal with just the page you are working on. Nice price could be a few more pages and the paper could be just a little bigger to prevent bleed through to the next page. We just stick a piece of paper behind the page being colored and that problem is solved.
Super cute coloring book and I love the spiral... the picture is drawn right over the serrated edge of the page in case that is a factor for you! If you want to tear out the picture with out the spiral edge you will lose a small (in my opinion) and insignificant portion of the picture. The pages are spiral bound and serrated to be torn out. Pages are thick and sturdy. Product is as described.
Rather childish designs. The paper is on the thin side, so plan to either use only pencils or get a good blotter for between pages for pens or markers. The spiral binding makes it easy to remove the pages. It's a good coloring book for a person just taking up coloring for the first time since youth OR for a tween or young teen. None of the designs are terribly intricate so it's on the simpler end of the scale in terms of design complexity.
Lovely, simple, various, tidy designs. You can tell when drawings have been rushed and half-assed (like other coloring books I've bought in the past), and these aren't like that. Large pages. Very thick, one-sided paper with tear lines for easy removal. The paper takes beautifully to water-based markers and pens (haven't tried anything else yet). I couldn't be more happy with the purchase.
I like that the pages are thick and there is not another drawing on the other side so your picture won’t bleed through and ruin another page. It’s perfect for someone who doesn’t want to get overwhelmed with a coloring book, it’s just enough. It’s also super cute.
I like the quality of this coloring book, but the art wasn’t what I thought. It’s nice enough I suppose but it just wasn’t what I was expecting. I guess all in all, this book is kind of in the take it or leave it section for me. I don’t dislike it, but I don’t love it either.
